Beth graduated from St. Mary’s University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and history. She then attended the University of PEI to obtain a Bachelor of Education. After teaching high school for five years in Newfoundland and Ontario, Beth returned to her native Nova Scotia to attend law school at Dalhousie University.
